At Wael Farran Studio, Senses was nothing short of a challenge! Located in South of Lebanon, Senses is a pool house that was conceived and built as an extension to an existing residence.
Forest and city, nature and technology – they became the basics that architects of Bogdanova Bureau had taken to create a “Good Life” private house project. Natural wood in contrast to the cold marble slab are the main materials used in the interior.
Every room of the Light Residence contains paintings, art drawings and sculpture. There is a painting of Petro Slyota in the banquet room. Also there are several works of Nikolay Gluschenko. Part of the basement is taken by technical rooms that control proper operating of the house.
The layout of the Copper house is simple and functional. Fireplace room, kitchen, dining room, hall, dressing room – combines a cube covered with natural copper. This is the central element of the 1st floor. Inside it fit: a closet, a built-in kitchen, the bearing structures of the building, and a decorative niche with plants.
