In the middle of a glamorous winter sports resort, destilat liberated a two-storey condo from its classic alpine chic to make room for the modern tastes of a young family.
The creative heads behind Destilat are Harald Hatschenberger, Thomas Neuber and Henning Weimer. In the middle of a glamorous winter sports resort, destilat liberated a two-storey condo from its classic alpine chic to make room for the modern tastes of a young family.
Located on the 9th and 10th floors of a new building, the penthouse L and its three-sided terrace sail like a yacht above the rooftops of Vienna, and thus also a little aloof.
The Gut Wagram estate in Lower Austria’s Weinviertel clearly shows that destilat’s design can go far beyond the interior: cladding and plaza design, path guidance and even the planting plan for the castle’s garden (in collaboration with a landscape designer) reflect Destilat’s distinctive style.
Our client bought two apartments on opposite sides of the same corridor on the 4th floor of a Viennese “Gründerzeit” building. The smaller apartment with its 65m2 faces the courtyard while the bigger, approximately 100m2-apartment looks towards the street as well as the courtyard side.
The Apartment E&E is more than just a conventional redevelopment of an old classic Viennese apartment; it is a statement about sustainable interior design. The concept’s central theme was to unite the consumption-critical lifestyle of the owner …
