Our practice at EHDO is a collaboration of creative people who pursue a balance between making something wonderful and the act of doing this responsibly. This understanding is a critical aspect of EHDO’s practice and informs all of our work across small and large scales.

Beginning in the 1970’s as a pioneering rammed earth construction company by artist and building innovator Giles Hohnen, the business evolved into a design focused company called EHDO (meaning Earth House Design Office). It is now under the leadership of Dave Delahunty, who along with longtime close collaborator Dimitri Kapetas continue to explore the potential of architecture to make a positive contribution to our lives by placing equal value on environmental, social and economic outcomes.
