Our client presented Flavin Architects with a unique challenge. On a site that previously hosted two houses, our client asked us to design a modestly sized house and separate art studio.

The work of Flavin Architects is deeply rooted in the context in which our projects are sited; we call this approach to design Natural Modernism. The firm designs buildings that relate beautifully to their surroundings, with sculpted lines and timeless materials. Silver Hill House / Flavin Architects
Precise standing seam gable roofs and board-and-batten siding nod to the vernacular farmhouses of Lincoln, MA, where the Silver Hill House is located. A triangular wedge forms a canopy over the front door.
