Grey Griffiths Architects is a young architecture practice, founded in 2016 by Tom Grey and Michael Griffiths.
Grey Griffiths Architects has over 20 years collective experience working on projects ranging from house extensions, to large scale developments and masterplans. We are equally skilled at designing a carefully crafted domestic project for specific users and masterplanning new communities and urban environments.
We believe that each project is a unique opportunity with a unique set of parameters that must be balanced to create the best solution. The solving of problems through clever and well considered design is central to our work and each project is approached with a bespoke process that best suits its requirements.
Careful crafting of design solutions is a collaborative process informed by an understanding of client, through consultation and through research of materials and context. This is accompanied by a sound understanding of commercial and technical concerns and a grounding in the practicalities of the project.
Our experience has provided excellent knowledge of the planning system, and what it takes to deliver a project. We bring our diverse range of skills to each project, working with clients to establish a brief and provide a unique solution that meets, or more often than not, exceeds their expectations. Our background gives us great expertise in getting the most out of complex and constrained sites to arrive at design solutions of the highest calibre.
We are an RIBA Chartered Practice.
