John Maniscalco Architecture
John Maniscalco, AIA, is the founding partner of John Maniscalco Architecture. He brings over 26 years of professional experience as a Project Designer for a wide range of projects including master-planning, commercial office buildings, academic buildings, civic center, transportation complexes, and wineries, as well as multi and single family homes.
Raised in New Jersey, he received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University, where he was the recipient of both the Seipp Prize and the York Prize for Design. He has worked as a Project Designer in some of the nation's most prestigious firms, including the offices of Gensler, Ellerbe Becket, Chong Partners, and ROMA Design Group. Since founding John Maniscalco Architecture in 2000, he oversees all phases of design and construction on jmA projects from conception to completion. His work has received multiple design awards and has been featured in numerous national and international publications.
John lives in San Francisco with his wife, two sons, and our sometimes-office-dog, Brooklyn in a house near the Presidio where he hoards an embarrassing number of guitars.
