This project was commissioned by a couple living in Vancouver who fell in love with Salt Spring Island (as many do) and decided to build their dream home on a beautiful high-bank waterfront lot overlooking views of Sansum Narrows and Vancouver Island beyond.
About Julian Carnrite Architect
Since graduating from the Masters of Architecture Program at Dalhousie University in 2005, Julian has worked abroad and with notable firms in the Vancouver area including James K. M. Cheng Architects. Over the past several years he has gained extensive experience in custom residential design and now practices from Salt Spring Island. Julian works closely with his clients to translate functional concepts into beautiful form. His keen eye for detail and appreciation of nature ensure that his projects are integrated within the natural landscape. These factors result in successful projects that meet the specific needs of his clients.
Julian is an accredited architect in the province of British Columbia.
