L'EAU Design


L’EAU Design is a group seeking after such environment as falling under comprehensive sense and attempt the relationship with architectural design. ‘environment’ includes meanings of social and cultural conditions that influence in human lifestyle as well as ecological and build environment.

L’EAU Design, since its establishment in 2000, has been pursuing a total design focused on ‘Architecture and Urbanism’ ‘Renovation and Interior Design’ ‘Environment Design’ in order to architecturally design diverse concerns amid the better ‘human environment’, which is based on our research about social and cultural background of human.

Principal Architect
Kim Yoo Jung graduated from Hongik University with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and obtained a Master’s degree specializing in interior architecture from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Déco-ratifs. She participated in a number of exhibition projects including Museum of President Jaques Chirac, International Congress Center in Bordeaux, Restaurant Guy Savoy in Paris, Museum of fortress Fort Thungen in Luxembourg, Inchon International Airport in Korea, and Gana Art Gallery while she worked at Wilmotte & Associés in Paris, France. Since then, she has continued a wide range of design activities such as interior, exhibition, environmental, and furniture designs based on architecture through her international experiences. She is currently a principal interior architect of L’EAU Design and is active in interior and various design fields. Her major works include “Chaeun,” “Renault Samsung Motors Design Center,” “KTB Investment and Securities,” clothing store in China, “Amos Hair Academy,” “Jeju “Bayhill Pool and Villa,” “Hanwha Resort,” and “Handpicked Hotel.” She is a member of the Korea Institute of Architects and the Korea Institute of Interior Design. She served as a member of the architecture review committee in Seocho-gu and as an adjunct professor and lecturer at Duksung Women’s University, Kyungwon University, Yonsei University, and Hongik University.
