Our design approach is centered around you—be it your daily routine, special occasion rituals, or extensive record collection, we help you align your environment with your values.
We delight in unexpected material pairings, natural textures, and handmade objects. Each selection contributes to your sensory experience of place.
We believe the lifecycle of a building is as important as its design. The social good and the environmental good are inextricably linked.
Mariam’s experience spans the country and continents. An alum of Columbia University’s Master of Architecture program, she has taught at Georgia Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design. Licensed in both New York and California, she is a LEED-Certified architect seasoned in the stringent Living Building Challenge standards, and our in-house expert on sustainable building systems. She even worked on one of the first municipal buildings in the country to have net-zero energy and water. Hers is a light, playful touch.
Starting her career as the director of a prominent Los Angeles-based art gallery, Meredith immersed herself in contemporary art for five years before transitioning into interior design. Interiors led her to architecture, earning her master’s from Yale in 2010. Since then, Meredith has worked at several esteemed architecture firms in Los Angeles. Today, she’s half of MAAM, the big-picture thinker and the artistic eye that plays a hand in finishing every build. Her work has been displayed at the Yale Architecture Gallery, The Center for Land Use Interpretation, and MoMA PS1.
