Mette Lange is a Danish architect. A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1990, she divides her time between Denmark and India.
Mette Lange’s architecture builds on principles for sustainability and social responsibility. Her ambition is to build houses responding to the specific site and client. Hence, local material and solutions for minimizing energy use has priority in her projects. Mette supports UN Global Compact principles. She has received awards and recognition for the mobile schools she has designed for nomad children in Goa. Mette Lange Architects has also designed homes in Denmark, including summer houses or holiday homes built of sustainable local materials.
