NY Lake House sits on a lake with sprawling cliff views at the edge of the Mohonk Preserve. The home was purchased to serve as a retreat for its owners and we wanted the interior to really reflect that.
OAD Interiors
OAD Interiors is owned and operated by Melissa Anderson out of Brooklyn, NY. Melissa holds a BFA from Laguna College of Art and Design, an MFA from the New York Academy of Art, and an AAS in Interior design from The Fashion Institute of Technology. Melissa worked as a color specialist for acclaimed artist Jeff Koons in his Chelsea studio for many years. She also worked as an interior designer at the global architecture and design firm Perkins + Will, with clients such as NYU Langone and Barclays. Melissa is a LEED Green Associate and puts LEED principles to work for her clients.
OAD Interiors loves to repurpose whenever possible, favors recycled materials and locally made products. Guided by a balance of creativity and functionality, OAD delivers unique yet practical design solutions.
