This is an apartment designed for a young scientist, living mostly alone. The XVIth century building is part of a uniquely preserved Renaissance neighborhood in the city of Lyon, France.

Simone Bossi is a photographer with an architectural background based in London and Milan. He studied Architecture in Milan and Seville and after five years working as an architect between Italy, Switzerland and the Netherlands, he decided to dedicate himself entirely to photography. He has worked for magazines and architects across Europe, Asia and Australia.

Apartment XVI Paris by Studio Razavi Architecture
The apartment XVI belongs to a French American couple and this is their Parisian home. Our brief was to transform the place into a warm & contemporary Parisian apartment and allow as much flow between each room.
House of Bees / Extra Medium
My family bought land in South of France’s Vaucluse department in the early 2000s. At the time, a small farmhouse sitting in the forest nearby had been weathering away for more than a decade. It stood on its hill, fading comfortably into the landscape.

The house plan harmony is guaranteed by the subdivision of the space into three bands. The most convivial one, facing south, overlooks the fields getting lost in the panorama of the lake. A more technical intermediate band houses the kitchen, the courtesy service and the pantry.
