Tony Soluri is a Chicago-based photographer specializing in residential & commercial properties for interior designers, architects and publications.
All photographers know that in order to succeed in this business you must be passionate, and so devoted that the art of creation becomes your only purpose. Something of which you have no choice.
I was born in an Italian and Polish, working class, Chicago neighborhood, and have lived through the great eras of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and the first of the 21st century. These have generated many wonderful and thought-provoking experiences that all play into my work, I have been passionate about photography since the moment I picked up my first camera and I’m constantly driven to experiment with light and emotion.
My personal work and assignments enabled me to travel and work in the US and worldwide, and have only solidified my belief that working hard with committed people towards a creative end is what it is all about.

Zinc House was designed for a couple and their three children. They wanted a Lakeview home with a strong connection to the outdoors that preserved privacy in their dense urban neighborhood.
The owners of this Lakeview property wanted to create outdoor space for relaxing and entertaining. Their vision was to transform the yard to promote an open-air lifestyle that reminded them of California wine country, where they have roots.
This Old Town home was built in 1972. Designed by Bruce Graham, architect of the Sears Tower, it remained unaltered by the original owner until our client purchased it.
The design of Fox River Residence is driven by the site, allowing each room to have expansive views of the landscape. The main living spaces are created by intersecting rectangular volumes flanked by a double-height entry space anchoring the house.
This 1890s home, located in Chicago’s Wicker Park landmark district, was a rental three-flat for decades and had fallen into disrepair.
The clients had searched five years across four states to find a site for their weekend home that spoke to them. The Lawless retreat was to be everything that their Chicago residence – a lofted space nestled within the attic trusses of a converted church – was not.
The defining characteristic of the Eastwood Residence is its contextual responsiveness. While contemporary in expression, it relates to its Lincoln Square, a historically German and family oriented neighborhood on Chicago’s north side, location in a number of ways.
