Sitting behind an industrial facade is the striking brutalist Prahran House. An escape from the streetscape, our design provides a nod to the style of the original building with the restored facade of the former textile factory.

This shoreline home is a 2800 square foot, 2-bedroom Pacific Northwest-style house anchored into a steep-sloped site. There is an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area that opens directly to the outdoors with a corner bi-fold door system.
The building site had a significant influence on the design for the Lookout House. Layered with intense geologic history at the base of a three-million-year-old volcano, the site is a north-facing 20-degree slope with equal parts refuge and prospect at 6,300 feet above mean sea level.
