This project is a light flooded second storey extension to a Californian bungalow in Northcote, Melbourne. This minimised work to the ground floor and allowed the owners to remain in occupation for a large part of the build reducing total project costs.
Idyllically set among Victoria’s coastal bushland on the Mornington Peninsula, this was a replacement building for a fiberglass shack that has grown into a permanent residence and a coastal holiday home for extended family.
The Malvern House is an addition and renovation to an existing Edwardian style house. The owners, whilst endeared by the houses period charm, desired a relaxed, contemporary family home to raise a young family.

Designed by Neil Clerehan in the 70′s, the brief for the renovation of this rural Victorian house was to tailor it to suit the operational requirements of a working farmhouse and to accommodate the needs of a modern family.
The brief given by our client for this Victorian Terrace was to create a space in which they could relax but also entertain guests. When replanning their dining and formal living areas, we played with textures to create an engaging space suitable for various uses.
Ceres House is our largest project completed to date. Located within the rolling hills of Ceres – a rural hamlet of Geelong – the project was virtually a new build and involved the simultaneous design of the residence, its interior and immediate exterior spaces.
The architectural form of the Main Ridge house is a series of intersecting pavilions which have been oriented to the views and to the east and north solar aspect. Spotted Gum timber ‘boxes’ follow the contours of the site
The Two Halves House on Silverwattle Drive is divided in to two pavilions of exactly the same size. The upper level pavilion houses the sleeping areas, whilst the lower level is the kitchen, meals, living spaces and garage.
Set in the coastal bushland of Aireys Inlet, this home weaves along the block between established ironbarks, capitalizing on the bush views and northern aspect, to create a tranquil retreat.
The approach for the renovation and extension of the Hopetoun Road Residence is to retain the existing structure as an anchoring element, adding a series of pavilions underneath a floating copper roofline that wraps around the original building.
