CCD APAC Headquarters, Singapore / CCD – Cheng Chung Design
On October 7, 2024, luxury interior design firm Cheng Chung Design (CCD) opened a new office in Singapore. This move marks a major step in its global expansion. The space is also known as the CCD APAC Headquarters outside of Greater China. Situated in the lively Marina Bay district, the office offers panoramic views of Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Merlion Park, and the Singapore Flyer.

Two Social Housing Units In Artà, Palma de Mallorca
Nestled on C/Vinya in the old town of Artà, this multi-family building comprises two housing units. It stands on the site of a century-old construction, where the architects carried out a thorough study before deciding which parts could be salvaged. Their focus was on reuse—a strategy to minimize waste, preserve cultural heritage, and give new life to original materials.

Japan House, Sydney / Sandbox Studio
When the owners of a 1920s Californian Bungalow on Sydney’s lower north shore desired more living space, Sandbox Studio proposed a pavilion-style extension rather than building upward. This new, low-lying structure preserves the original streetscape view while creating a private domain at the rear of the property.

Szoke House, El Escorial / Aranguren + Gallegos
Szoke House stands on the southern slopes of Monte Abantos in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, near Madrid. This location is known for its dense pine forests, rugged terrain, and dramatic granite outcroppings. The design aims to blend with the area’s rich landscape, taking in views of La Herrería forest to the southwest and the historic Royal Site of San Lorenzo de El Escorial to the east.

Loft in Barcelona by Meta Studio aimed to enrich a ground-floor apartment with as much natural light and ventilation as possible. The original dwelling featured a long, open layout, relying solely on two courtyards at opposite ends for daylight.

Casa T, Menorca / Gabriel Montañés
Casa T is a 286.61 m² farmhouse in Menorca. The local architecture studio, Gabriel Montañés, turned an abandoned building into a modern home that still honors the island’s heritage. This revival features natural materials such as wood, marés sandstone, and limestone cladding. By mixing old and new elements, the project respects Menorca’s traditional style while meeting modern needs.
