EskewDumezRipple is a design-driven studio which produces diverse projects in architecture, interiors, and urban strategies by blending a signature collaborative process with professional talent, creative thinking and emerging technologies. We create unique projects of architectural excellence, buildings of their own time and place whose authenticity is expressed in each aspect of building massing, scale, siting, details and materials.
Our commitment to enhance and protect both the cultural and natural environments of the communities we serve is evident in the beauty and technical craftsmanship of our designs and in the long-term sustainability of our projects. For us, program content and design process drive architectural form. We believe that a building is an expression of both the process by which design decisions are made, and the program to which the building must adhere – its size, function, and context, as well as cost and construction time.
Based in New Orleans, we use the cultural and architectural heritage of our city as a platform for a practice of national range and recognition. The result is a vibrant portfolio that includes aquariums, research laboratories, marine facilities, interpretative centers and museums as well as office buildings, academic and health care facilities. Seven Firm Principals lead our studio of professionals, promoting design excellence, efficient project delivery, and mastery of technical construction systems. We advocate environmental sustainability, elegant craftsmanship of materials and spirited collaboration with each one of our clients.

LABI is a 15,000-square-foot workplace renovation of a warehouse constructed in the 1880s. Architecturally, the design sought to express the original bones of the building with interiors that spoke to the cultural and natural landscape of southern Louisiana.
Second Harvest is one of the region’s largest food banks, carrying out a mission to end hunger by providing food access, advocacy, education, and disaster response.
The Center of Developing Entrepreneurs (CODE) is a new sustainable, mixed-use project in downtown Charlottesville, comprised of a new public plaza and 215,000 square feet of multi-use space, including a strategic combination of co-working, office space, shared amenities, and retail.
A response to a city-wide RFP, this project sought to revitalize an important transit junction by offering a seamless blend of affordable housing with coworking and retail.

The Shop is a comprehensive co-working development that is located on the third and forth floors of the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) in downtown New Orleans, one of New Orleans’ most important cultural institutions.
