Loft in Barcelona / Meta Studio

Loft in Barcelona by Meta Studio aimed to enrich a ground-floor apartment with as much natural light and ventilation as possible. The original dwelling featured a long, open layout, relying solely on two courtyards at opposite ends for daylight.

Casa T / Gabriel Montañés

Casa T, Menorca / Gabriel Montañés

Hutch Cabin / Madeleine Blanchfield Architects

Hutch Cabin, New South Wales / Madeleine Blanchfield Architects

Hutch Cabin is a prototype, off-grid dwelling, nestled in a valley near the rural village of Wollombi. Conceived during the global pandemic, it was designed to satisfy an increasing urban desire for rest, adventure, and wellbeing. Indeed, it marries the stripped-back nature-immersion of camping with the comforts and luxury of a boutique hotel experience.

Green Cabin / Daymark Design Incorporated

Green Cabin, Georgian Bay / Daymark Design Incorporated

Surrounded by rocky outcrops, lush treelines, and broad views of Georgian Bay, Green Cabin rests on Robert’s Island—accessible only by boat. Consequently, the approach to the site begins at the dock, ascending over rugged terrain toward an existing cottage that stands slightly elevated.
