02A is an Italian architecture and interior design studio based in Rome.
Founded in 2014 from the collaboration between architects Thomas Grossi and Marco Rulli, the studio is united by the idea of a broader architectural design, in which the term “project” represents the fulcrum and synthesis of several disciplinary fields.
This philosophical approach is especially relevant when it comes to home. Each intervention implies a process of truly getting to know the clients, and of interpreting both their practical needs and interior aspirations.
The studio’s design method is based on a constant and passionate investigation into compositional, functional and technological responses to our human need to inhabit a space capable of contributing to our own happiness.
02A has completed numerous private residential interiors in the capital and shares its projects through surreal images, videos and descriptions that not only reveal the final result but also fragments of the path traveled.

VDS House by 02A Studio transforms a 1960s apartment in Conca D’Oro, Rome, into a refined, contemporary home. Consequently, this renovation honors the building’s rational structure while introducing bold gestures and thoughtful interventions.

Stazione 123 Apartment by 02A Studio is a perfect example of this philosophy—a transformation that accelerates time, revealing an environment renewed yet rich with history and personal experience.
Located in the Della Vittoria district of Rome, Sabotino House is a masterfully renovated flat, set within the historic I.C.P. houses originally designed by Innocenzo Sabbatini in 1925. Surrounded by spacious gardens and featuring rustic stones, gables, and loggias, this 100-square-meter apartment seamlessly balances its historic roots with modern design by 02A Studio.
The first time I entered the Gasometer apartment on the slopes of Monteverde, on the road that leads from Trastevere Station to Villa Pamphili, I thought: “This house must be freed”!
