To deal with the form of a residential building in the middle of a small village, not a city, was an interesting challenge for us. The existing non-functional production area was also losing its sense in this location in terms of urban planning
The new layout of the house allows its owners different levels of intimacy. The ground floor is very open and invites the family to spend time together.
A single row of old semi-detached family houses remained surrounded by concrete blocks of flats, creating an exceptional private island of gardens inside a high-rise residential area of the Pilsen–Lochotín district.
In recent years, the village of Kamenice has experienced an influx of residents and the associated construction boom. The original village is being urbanized and urban-type architecture is emerging, especially in the center of the village.
