Casa Emma, designed by HW Studio, is a deeply evocative project rooted in an architectural experience that left a lasting impression on the firm’s principals. A few years ago, they visited the Paula Rego Museum by Eduardo Souto de Moura, where they felt profoundly moved by the light and tranquility within.

The No Name house, like a convent, is organized around a sequence of courtyards; each courtyard is accompanied by a space covered by a barrel vault that blurs the limits of the roof, softens the light, and pays homage to the numerous baroque churches in the city
When work began on this small house and after a thorough historical research, it was concluded that there are few places in Mexico with a constructive identity as strong as Guanajuato.
