We often think of a house as four walls and a roof, but for this Canadian family of six—parents in their 30s, four young children in tow—home means so much more. They arrived in Israel a few years ago with a sense of purpose: to create a private world that would blend the North American design language they held dear with the open, sunlit spirit of their new environment.
The house in question is located in the settlement of Yad Rambam, in the center of Israel, yet far from the hustle and bustle. This makes it an island of tranquility surrounded by open spaces and greenery visible from all directions.
A father of a family of 6 who went on a journey to find the perfect house and saw no less than 300 properties until he found the one, together with Hadas Roth and Shira Muskal, owners of the firm “Halel Architecture and Interior Design” who are in charge of planning and designing the project, will testify to this.
