Time had visibly worn down the original 1990s structure of the Slabin Residence, prompting Christopher Jeffrey Architects to undertake a complete renovation. While the Clients had cherished the peaceful farmland surrounding their property, they decided it was time to update their home to suit modern living.

Pacific Residence, Sydney / Alexander & CO.

Pacific House is an alteration and addition to an existing 1990’s concrete framed cliffside dwelling. It is exposed to the Easterly facing ocean and closely adjacent to similar cliffside dwelling structures. Alexander &CO. (A&CO.) have replanned the dwelling, adding external amenities including landscape works and a swimming pool.

Located in a seismically active region, threatened by fires in dry periods, this villa was the beneficiary of a meticulous materials selection process to make it safe, comfortable, and cool when temperatures reach 40°C (104°F).

DV House by MMXX Architects stands out with its single geometric shape. Each facade element—windows, doors, openings, and cladding—adds visual depth. Split stone and timber louvres cover the exterior walls. In contrast, precast concrete caps accent the floor and roof slabs, giving the home a structured yet natural look.

Tucked away within the picturesque landscape of Quebec’s Eastern Townships, Sutton House stands as a complete overhaul and extension of an early 20th century stone house. Originally built in 1908 and modestly expanded in the 1950s, the house had remained largely unaltered since.

I wanted a smooth, flowing apartment. With light colors and not too dark. My old apartment had darker wood and I ended up getting sick of it. For this new house I wanted something timeless and extremely soft that could work with natural light and bring the landscaping I proposed for the balcony into the house.
