Selma Masic
Selma Masic is a Bosnia-Herzegovinian born architect, designer, and visual documentarian based in Tokyo, Japan, whose work bridges the worlds of architecture, art, and photography. Masic’s multidisciplinary practice spans built projects, conceptual designs, and image making. She has designed residential and experimental works such as the “Borderless House” in collaboration with Haryu Wood Studio, and her photographic output complements her architectural thinking—she frames space as both subject and medium. Her images are appreciated for their compositional restraint and ability to translate abstract architectural ideas into perceptible atmospheres.
