Nestling into its urban village setting in Melbourne’s inner suburbs, Little Maggie Residence creatively extends an existing heritage weatherboard cottage.
Located on a typical quarter-acre site in the leafy suburb of Malvern East, this project sought to renovate and restore a double fronted Edwardian residence with a new modern extension added to the rear.
Miller Residence is an exploration of the interstitial spaces and relationships between the existing built form and the surrounds. The existing weatherboard property suffered from piecemeal connections within as well as with the natural environment.
Warrandyte Riverside House was originally designed in the 1960’s by Architect Davis S Gordon for his family, with what we suspect, was a nod to McGlashan and Everist’s award winning Heide II of the era.
