The Viczonecode Villa, nestled in a new residential area 20km east of downtown Ho Chi Minh City, serves as the idyllic home for a young family of five. This area, characterized by low population density and abundant green spaces, provides the perfect backdrop for a residence that merges personal elements of the homeowners with the principles of tropical architecture.
Named as Tile Nest, the house communicates the idea of creating a space, a blend of the Nest with many nooks and crannies finding all their way up to the ground and the Ancient Pit House partially hidden underground.
The Stepping Park house is one of the latest projects in a housing series called “House for Trees”. The shortage of green space in Vietnam is causing environmental problems such as urban flooding, overheating and air pollution.
Thao Dien House, located in District 2 of Ho Chi Minh City, underwent a complete transformation by Vietnamese studio MM++ Architects. They aimed to convert the original art deco-inspired villa into a modern, minimalist home while retaining the existing concrete structure.
