The “House of Messines”, is based on an existing building, already in ruins, but with a fantastic orientation East-West, and with a rhythm of openings for light source already very inviting.
Vitor Vilhena Arquitectura
Vitor Vilhena was born in Lagos in 1971 and graduated from the University Lusíada in Lisbon in 1997. Between 1996 and 1999 collaborated with architects Jorge Gonçalves and Paulo Simões (Aupera), Henry Albino, Margarida Gomes Simoes and Vitor Lourenço, where he developed works of all kinds. In 1999 he founded Vitor Vilhena Arquitectura, an architectural practice based in Algarve, Portugal.
This Portuguese house consists of 2 floors, the groundfloor which is at the level of the entrance, and which comprises 4 bedrooms, living and dining area, kitchen and service areas, complemented by a car parking.
