This project was developed on a flag shaped hillside lot in the Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles. The orientation of the site is within a canyon where the sun rises from above a steep hill behind the flat building pad.

The site is long and narrow from north to south, with a difference in elevation from the road. We can use it openly and spaciously because the line of sight from people and cars coming and going along the road is offset.
