Bresoles Apartment

This project was recently completed by Natalie Dionne Architecture. The Bresoles Apartment is a 1500 sq. ft penthouse located opposite the Notre-Dame Basilica of Old Montreal, Canada.

From the architect: The imposing limestone wall influences the palette of color in a shade of gray : Carrara marble, stainless steel, lacquer and gray quartz. Ebony dyed floorboards, and solid walnut with accented veining, are perfumed by the man who occupies it. A lath of walnut wood, with integrated lighting, conceals the fall of the ceiling and interferes even in the cellar. The meticulous built-in furniture, also in walnut, spreads from the kitchen island to the bathtub enclosure of the bathroom. Photos © Raphaël Thibodeau
