Door Handles, Attractive Decorations by Martin Pierce

Door handles, can be some interesting decoration elements that can enhance the beauty and attractiveness of a house. Usually, we don’t give too much importance to them, giving them just a less decorative functional role. Designer Martin Pierce from Los Angeles demonstrates how much beauty and symbolism can be contained in a custom door handle made of bronze or stainless steel. Martin Pierce founded Martin Pierce Hardware Inc. in 2002 and realized in time a number of collections of hardware for doors, with six different styles, mostly inspired by nature. All of the styles are original and copyrighted and are cast in the lost wax method which allows exceptional detail.

The Hedgerow, Willow and Lizard styles are all nature inspired but each is still a distinctive hardware series. The Hedgerow and Grape Vine collections are reminiscent of Arts and Crafts hardware with stylized trees and gnarly vines that are sculpted to create decorative door handles. Willow is a series that captures the motion of leaves swirling in the wind. The Lizard collection, as its name suggests, offers original door pulls in the form of grand lizard handles resting on hewn back plates or lying on tree bark.
