As described by deep.com, Vanguard “provides a dry living environment for medium-duration missions of seven or more days, without the need to resurface.”

Unlike the austere underwater stations of the past, this habitat introduces a human-centred approach to subsea living. From carefully tuned lighting to intelligent spatial planning, every detail reduces the sense of confinement that once defined life underwater.

Safety and Sustainability at the Core

Vanguard’s innovations extend beyond comfort. It will be the first underwater habitat classed by DNV, a global authority in subsea safety certification—setting a new benchmark for reliability.

Its anchoring system and hurricane-resilient design ensure stability even in extreme conditions. Every interior material has been rigorously tested for compatibility within a pressurised marine environment.
