BS House by Elias Rizo Arquitectos
BS House was built upon a relatively flat, treeless area. Unlike most of Tapalpa, which is covered with lush coniferous forests, the landscape surrounding the house appears alien; colored in ochres and sepias, and sprinkled with boulders and patches of high grasses.
Weekend Retreat on the Edge of a Mountain
The project grew out of a house GG very particular commission. Our client, a middle-aged bachelor, wanted to build a weekend retreat in a clearing in a forest, on a property on the mountain.
