The Bentonville Campus Collaborative will consist of four separate spaces, each programmed to serve a specific core function for students, faculty and community partners.
Hufft is an architecture, interior design and fabrication studio with offices in Kansas City, Mo., and Bentonville, Ark. We strive to bring meaning to everyday life through work that strengthens the connection between people and place. Hufft was founded on the belief that an open dialogue between designers and builders leads to innovative design and projects that are ultimately more valuable for the people they serve. Throughout our history, we have developed a rigorous approach to design that seeks to identify, understand and use our client’s biggest challenges as a catalyst for innovation.
From our roots in residential design, Hufft has built an expanding portfolio of commercial, institutional and hospitality work. Today, we are a nationally-recognized, award-winning design firm that employs an interdisciplinary staff of architects, interior designers, artists and craftsmen. Our studio is organized to foster multi-disciplinary collaboration that expands traditional notions of the architectural practice, seamlessly integrating designers and craftsmen.

The Bentonville Campus Collaborative will consist of four separate spaces, each programmed to serve a specific core function for students, faculty and community partners.
Designed as a getaway for a Brooklyn-based couple, Bay Bay House (known as ‘The Navel Observatory’ to those on the island) embraces simplicity and function. Positioned on stilts, the home appears to float on the tall grass reed landscape
Situated above a stream that pumps more than 300,000 gallons of crystal-clear water through its site each day, Streamline House is designed for its local vernacular. Drawing inspiration from the site’s natural stream, the power and elegance of flowing water is celebrated in the transposition of traditional forms.
The Show house was built to display the full range of design and fabrication capabilities offered by the Hufft Projects. It serves as a model unit for clients, testing ground for design prototypes and the Hufft family home.
When an art collector and his wife asked us to design and build them a new home, we used their extensive collection as the genesis of the residence. Artwork fills the lower level.
