Sanden+Hodnekvam Architects
Sanden + Hodnekvam Architects is a Norway-based design studio founded in 2014 by architects John Sanden and Ingvild Hodnekvam. Based on the Nesodden Peninsula and with a presence in Oslo, the practice emphasizes clarity of form, material integrity, and a strong connection to the Scandinavian landscape and built heritage.
Their portfolio spans residential homes, student housing, competition entries, and institutional projects across Norway. The firm seeks to make architecture that is accessible, enduring, and expressive—often working with timber, concrete, and the landscape to create spaces that are both subtle and rich in character.
LOCATION: Oslo / Nesodden, Norway
