Richview Residence / Studio for Architecture & Collaboration
For the Richview Residence, StudioAC was tasked with creating a concept that maintained an open layout while housing as much storage as possible for this growing family.
The Studio for Architecture and Collaboration (Studio AC) is a collaborative architecture practice in Toronto, Ontario. We focus on design at multiple scales. We believe in finding creative solutions for our clients’ needs, and endeavour to execute fine and detailed craftsmanship at all levels. The studio works closely with clients, consultants, designers, artists, and contractors at every stage of our work, from conception to realization. We believe that any problem presents limitless opportunities and take on each project with excitement and willingness to create something that is both unique and timeless.
Studio AC was founded in 2015 by Jennifer Kudlats and Andrew Hill. The team forged a strong working relationship while at KPMB Architects in Toronto. Both Jennifer and Andrew have experience working on a wide variety of scales – including residential, commercial, institutional and cultural buildings.
Studio for Architecture and Collaboration is registered with the Ontario Association of Architects.

For this small west Toronto renovation, rather than imagine a home comprised of rooms within an open plan we conceived a room revolving around a singular mass. The ‘mass’ presents the aesthetic grounding for the project while also containing all of its support functions in a clean plywood wrapper.
