Taylor Interior Design
Timeless, tailored, and beautiful interiors are the hallmark of Taylor Interior Design, Inc., the Providence-based firm founded in 1967 by New England Design Hall of Fame member Nancy Taylor. Courtney Taylor now directs the practice, embracing its reputation for providing intelligent, sophisticated, and considered design solutions for clients throughout the United States. Courtney understands that each project draws on an array of skills, from interior design to architecture, lighting, millwork, and spatial planning. She believes that good design can improve the way everyday lives are experienced by combining the client’s unique point of view with inspired and enduring design choices.
About Courtney Taylor
Courtney Taylor earned a degree in fashion design from Parsons School of Art and Design in New York City. She soon joined forces with her mother at Taylor Interior Design, contributing, among other things, her fashion aesthetic and a knowledge of the latest design technology. After more than 20 years, Courtney now runs the firm with a keen understanding of the design gestures that make each home a reflection of the clients’ personalities and experiences. She knows that the business side of a project is just as important as the design, regardless of scope, complexity, or size. She is committed to providing her clients with a long-term design investment rather than fleeting trends or soon-to-expire solutions. Her passion for the myriad cultural expressions of what home means inspire Courtney to create authentic and thoughtful testaments to her clients’ lives.
