The Los Feliz House includes a 630 sf 2nd floor addition and a complete interior renovation to a 1920’s stucco bungalow for two actors with a strong sense of personal style and an expanding art collection.

Eagle Bay House, located in the coastal south western town of Western Australia, was designed by architect Matthew Crawford in collaboration with Rosie Burton, daughter of the owners and graduate architect.
The projects sees the development of an inner city block to create a 4 bedroom, 3 ½ bathroom home for a young urban family. The texture and warmth of the bold masonry bedroom wing is a reference to the industrial and urban site context.
This house, placed at Itamambuca beach, has its starting point on the context and the program. Close to the seashore and surrounded by a dense and rich rainforest vegetation, the site pointed towards a simple conceptual insight.
