Klopper and Davis Architects is a boutique architectural design studio. Each project is designed specifically for our clients and is much a collaboration as a design consultancy.
The practice started in 2004 with a series of medium to large scale residential projects and has grown to include commercial, hotel, retail and multi-residential projects, as well as our specialty of single residential housing.
Sam Klopper and Matt Davis studied together, found like-minded architects in each other and started the practice based on a collaborative and complementary skills base. Sam takes a lead role in the design process, Matt takes the lead role in the delivery of the project. Each work collaboratively during the entire process and have significant input into both the design and the outcome. This structure ensures the seamless and consistent design and delivery of our projects.

This home challenges notions of a coastal suburban home. The external living spaces are in the front yard, not concealed from the neighbours. The main living room references the soft blue glow of a suburban night and appears from the street as a frame
The projects sees the development of an inner city block to create a 4 bedroom, 3 ½ bathroom home for a young urban family. The texture and warmth of the bold masonry bedroom wing is a reference to the industrial and urban site context.
Dolce House is a newly built modern two-storey home with three bedrooms and a ground-floor open-plan kitchen, living and dining area in the inner-Northern suburb of Mount Lawley, Perth. Armed with a loose brief and their renowned modernist style, the team at Klopper & Davis Architects harnessed a strong textural material palette.
