Nina Hamilton Photography
Nina Hamilton is a Tasmanian photographer with a background in architecture and design. She gained a Bachelor of Architecture [First Class Hons] and Masters of Design from The School of Architecture & Design at University of Tasmania, prior to working in architectural practice and education in Tasmania, Brisbane and East Africa.
She returned to Hobart, Tasmania in 2013, and shifted her focus to photography. Nina’s background in design allows her to bring a confident approach to photography – to intuitively read architecture and the designed form, to understand details and composition, and to capture the designer’s intent. She uses this approach for commercial and lifestyle photography, as there is always a story or idea, which can be beautifully reflected in the right set of images.
Nina creates visual content for businesses big & small: Tasmanian designers + producers, architects, events and things in between. She has worked with local and interstate clients, providing photography for print, social media, marketing and websites, on a broad range of projects.
