Concrete Cottage Covered with Wood Cladding in the Val d’Hérens

This concrete cottage is located in Mase, Switzerland, and was designed by Savioz Fabrizzi Architectes. Located in the Val d’Hérens, the new building, facing due south, enjoys an open view on the valley. The sloping plot offers a natural plateau at its top. Consequently, the building sets up on this flat area, avoiding major land modifications.

Chalet de Glace – Superb French Mountain Cottage

Located up on the mountain, above Morzine locality, France, near the border with Switzerland, Chalet de Glace (in French, ice chalet) is close to the Pleney slope. Designed by a local architect, the cottage has a few features from the style of a New York loft, with windows from floor to ceiling, exposed beams and
