The renovation aimed to refresh the semi-decorated space, previously designed by the construction company, while maintaining a clean, timeless style.
Located in the scenic south of Brazil, the Sea Front Apartment in Balneário Camboriú has been thoughtfully updated by Simara Melo Arquitetura. This project turns the apartment into a calm vacation home for a family from Mato Grosso.
Nestled in the picturesque Praia Brava of Itajaí, Santa Catarina, the 760m² Praia Brava Duplex Penthouse designed by Simara Mello is a stunning retreat for a couple with two young daughters. This luxurious residence was conceived as a private oasis, seamlessly blending relaxation and sociability within its spacious, informal design.
The main challenge of the project was to find the best layout for the apartment’s social spaces, ensuring enough storage space for the couple, without compromising the aesthetics or practicality of everyday life. Therefore, the main intervention of the project was the removal of the existing walls delimiting the kitchen and laundry room for a new layout arrangement.
The Parque apartment is treated as a frame to the city. It brings minimalist solutions in finishes and design, valuing Brazilian art and local studios. Every detail was thought to get the true essence of contemporary living in Brazil.
The kite apartment arose from the desire of a young couple to have a young and contemporary apartment, lovers of architecture and design, the briefing was clear, wood, lightness and color.
