Two Sisters Holiday Home is set on a rocky site among beautiful pine trees, overlooking the sea and facing west in Salo in southern Finland. It´s designed for two siblings and their families with the theme “together separately”.
The Hirvensalmi summerhouse is located on a small rocky island of lake Suontee in southern Finland. There is an existing small fishing cabin built by previous generations in the 1960’s as well as a sauna building from the 1980’s on the island.
Approaching the corner in which the front door lies, there is a powerful immersion in the darkness of the charred wood. The darkness shuts down the surroundings and builds up to a perceivable silence.
Pluspuu’s custom made StudioLine villa on a fantastic bedrock plot in the Turku archipelago in Finland. The house is 150 m² in size and features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a large living/dining room.
The building is the centre of social activities during the warm seasons of the year. Cooking and dining takes place in the unheated main space, dominated by generous views towards the Nordic lake landscape, and towards the midnight sun.
Newly-completed summer Kimito Island cabin project in the Finnish Archipelago, called Project Ö, where “Ö” means ‘an island’ in Swedish. We purchased the 5-acre island, on the edge of the Archipelago National Park, two years ago and have since built the main cabin with a sauna and the workshop.
The Arctic TreeHouse Hotel project started with a concept design made in close cooperation with the client. The inspiration for the accommodation concept — set on a steep natural slope — came from Nordic nature and culture as well as the magical world of SantaPark.
The Nolla cabin has been designed by Finnish designer Robin Falck, whose earlier design, Nido cabin, has been globally acknowledged.
