This project can undoubtedly be called a “smart passive house”. Terrace and most windows and rooms are oriented to the sun side, getting as much sun as possible.
In this project, the design of the house comes with some special conditions of the place where it is inserted, a garden neighborhood in the city of São Paulo.
Located in the heart of South Austin’s Zilker neighborhood, this stunning 5,000 square foot modern residence was designed as a grouping of small intimate stone pavilions, linked by a glass entryway to reflect the scale of the neighboring context
Located on a hillside meadow in rural Vermont, Bank Barn is a new residence conceptually inspired by the eponymous regional farm structures built into the banks of hills.
By disassembling the poor materials of the old facade we discovered that the house was actually made up of three small houses built according to the needs of the former owner.
The plot is situated in a gap between family houses that form the banks of the Dyje River. Steep terrain of the plot has the original terrace landscaping with stonewalls.
Perched on a steeply sloping lot in the community of Tetherow in Central Oregon, Trailhead House may be the ultimate base for outdoor adventures. The Trailhead House was a collaboration with Craig Miller of Living Places llc, Bozeman, Montana.
