Las Rocas Houses is a complex of four residences situated in the northern part of Valle de Bravo, known as La Peña. This elevated terrain, rich in rock formations and endemic vegetation, serves as the foundation for a project that seamlessly integrates architecture with nature.
Nestled in the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO protected area, Bautista House blends luxury and sustainability. This private villa, facing the Caribbean Sea, offers a peaceful retreat where nature and modern design coexist.
Architectural design in a single gallery. Family home developed across a whole story in a former industrial lab building, under the loft typology. The residence had a mezzanine added in, taking advantage of the ceiling heights to accommodate additional space for bedrooms.
The protagonist of the project is an 80-year-old “Pich” tree. The Tree House is design around the tree, through the use of an “L” scheme, geometrizing the land, an opening gesture is achieved towards the tree.
