Maison Francilienne by HEMAA Architectes combines architectural eras on a sloping Paris suburb site, resulting in a harmonious blend of history and modernity. In this project, Maison Francilienne retains the noble original structure while integrating a thoughtful extension that respects topography and preserves heritage.
Constructions on the Val di Noto hills must blend into the landscape, without dominating. Located in a seismically active region, threatened by fires in dry periods, this villa was the beneficiary of a meticulous materials selection process to make it safe, comfortable, and cool when temperatures reach 40°C (104°F).
Chiavari Apartment is an old duplex in a Genovese style, in the historic center of Chiavari, in Liguria, Italy. The apartment was renovated and divided into two apartments by the architect Nicola Spinetto.
