Before visitors step inside SCH House, they encounter a design approach shaped by the unique conditions of its surroundings. The architects at Ollech + Tol confronted challenging terrain, municipal requirements for stone facades, and the homeowner’s aspirations for a modern yet rooted residence.
A couple in their 40s, with three adolescents, turned to designer Yossi Shaul as they sought to buy a spacious, large home. They wished to remain in their beloved neighborhood nestled in the Jerusalem mountains, continuing to relish the clear air and unparalleled scenery.

Four years ago, Inon Ben-David was approached by a young couple with a request to create their dream home, a Little House in the Prairie, in Kfar Szold, a kibbutz located on a hill with stunning views of the Hula Valley. By the time the construction was completed, the couple had married and welcomed two children, and now they enjoy their breathtaking property as a family.
The design of this single-family home, in Moshav Achihud in the Galilee, has panoramic windows that take full advantage of the surrounding landscape, giving the homeowners the opportunity to connect with the inviting virgin nature all around.
This Two-Level Residence was planned by Architect and Interior Designer Inon Ben-David over a period of two years and another full year was dedicated to its construction.
