Studio MK27 has crafted the exquisite Prainha Branca House, a masterpiece that harmoniously blends architecture with the surrounding tropical forest. Positioned on a challenging site with steep slopes, the design meticulously respects the natural environment and adheres to a strict construction footprint.
Nestled at the foot of a lush mountain and almost invisible against the backdrop of the sea, Patios House by Studio mk27 exemplifies architectural harmony with its surroundings. A thin slab cleverly divides the green of the mountain from the sandy beach, creating a structure that blends seamlessly into the landscape.
Located in São Paulo, the interior renovation project of this 800 square-meter house – with the original architecture designed by Studio MK27 and completed in 2005 – had as its premise the adaptation of the social wing to the new life stage of the residents.
Inspired by the weather at Whistler, the team decided to work with a big glass box. This way, it would be possible to open up the interiors to the surrounding nature and invite the outside in.

Minas House is Studio mk27’s first project in Minas Gerais, inland Brazil. Right outside Belo Horizonte, which means beautiful horizon, the house hovers above the Minas Gerais mountains.
The Pasqua House, in Fazenda da Boa Vista, Porto Feliz, has a ground floor plan, in an “L” shape, a totally permeable volume with direct access to the garden.
The 200m2 apartment was transformed into a 1-bedroom studio and organized into two main areas: the social area taking up the width of the front façade, which include the living and dining rooms with an integrated kitchen;
