As Design Principal, Santoso Budiman brings a detail-oriented and hands-on approach to every stage of a project. Trained as an architect and with prior experience at Lovell Chen Architects and Heritage Consultants, Santoso has developed a deep understanding of design within heritage and institutional frameworks. His work at SWG Studio focuses on uncovering the unique potential of each site and client brief, translating it into architecture that is both refined and responsive. The project brief was to refurbish the original 1960’s interior which has never been touched by the previous owners. It wasn’t a very complicated brief for us to create a modern and contemporary open space living area…
The rear part of the Brunswick house is now connected to the new garage through the existing rear courtyard. We also created an outdoor-indoor living area with an engineered timber looking deck for entertaining.
