Our design for a dual terrace development in Manly features long horizontal concrete forms with chamfered edges and bands of glazing that invite the carefully curated greenery in.
We initially saw Balmain Rock House as a restoration and extension project, however through a collaborative process of discovery with the client, the existing cottage was not only restored, but its resonating bones became the inspiration for its addition.

Conceptually, the project is an insertion of two augmented lodges atop the existing house – one contains the parents’ bedroom & facilities, whilst the other is the children’s bedrooms.
This project is the alteration and addition of an existing Victorian cottage in Darling Point, Sydney. In recognition of the local suburbs’ vernacular, the ambition was to pay homage to a traditional grand home within a limited footprint.
Collectors Cottage is a renovation and extension of an existing character-filled bungalow. The design celebrates domesticity by providing a well-crafted backdrop for the owner’s quirky collection of artifacts, ceramics, instruments and household goods.
A carefully designed courtyard was fundamental to the Glebe Red House, combining a variety of landscape elements that deliberate a place of gathering.
Inspired by the generous nature of the clients, and their desire to live a bold and loving life, we collaborated with H Interior Design to create a home imbued with casual warmth, textural layers and an ethereal glow.

Responding the clients’ brief – a house offering sanctuary and entertainment, the Newport Waterfront Retreat is designed to allow nature to lead, offering maximum seclusion and connection to its surrounds and outlook.
Taking in breath-taking views of Sydney’s CBS, The Darlinghurst penthouse is like a next on the edge of the city. The scale of the apartment was transformed by matching interior floor finishes to the external bluestone paving, linking the interior and exterior with the view beyond.
Dating back to the 19th century the Surry Hills Warehouse was originally a tractor showroom, later the Labor Club of South Sydney, and eventually even a night club. The re-use of the warehouse into a single residence provided many creative opportunities.
