The project included the renovation and reconstruction of the interior of a house from 1923 in Szczecin. The main goal of the project was to change the classic layout of the house which was divided into many smaller rooms.
Bila Wabi Sabi is our no ordinary project because it embraces one of cult Japanese philosophies called ‘wabi-sabi’, or ‘imperfect beauty’. Its calm white (‘bila’ means that clean color) interior contrasts with a bustling city outside.
The TriBeCa Penthouse, a collaborative creation by Belgian designer Axel Vervoordt and Japanese architect Tatsuro Miki, is a luxurious 6,800 square foot suite inspired by the TriBeCa neighborhood’s industrial past and the ancient Japanese aesthetic of Wabi-Sabi.
